Pet Services as unique as your best friend.

Milo’s Mutts grew out of a very personal place:
Loving dogs who don’t always fit easily into the world around them.

Living with reactive dogs taught us that the hardest part isn’t always the behavior itself. It’s the constant need to anticipate what might happen next. Finding the quiet route. Crossing the street. Giving extra space. Explaining your dog to strangers. Wondering if someone will see the loving, funny, goofy dog you know - or only see the bark, the lunge, or the big reaction.

It also taught us something we never wanted to forget:
A dog having a hard time doesn’t mean they are a bad dog. And needing more understanding doesn’t make them too much.

Too often, dogs are expected to fit into environments that simply don't work for them - busy group walks, crowded daycare, unfamiliar people, constant stimulation, and training approaches that don't account for the individual dog.

But dogs aren't one-size-fits-all.

Some dogs confidently greet the world. Others need more space, more time, more predictability, or a little extra patience before they feel safe. Some have big feelings and even bigger reactions. And behind those reactions is still the same dog who wants to sniff, explore, play, connect, and feel secure.

We believe that dog deserves to be seen, too.

That belief became the heart of Milo’s Mutts Pet Services.

We take the time to learn the dog behind the behavior - their body language, their triggers, their comforts, their personality, and the little things that make them feel safe. We listen when they tell us they're uncomfortable. We give them space when they need it. We celebrate the small victories that other people might never notice.

And most importantly, we don't ask dogs to be someone they're not in order to deserve good care.

We meet them where they are, build trust at their pace, and create experiences where they can feel safe enough to simply be themselves. Because we know what it feels like to love a dog who needs a little more understanding.

And that's exactly why we’re here.

Certified Training

We don’t believe dogs need to fit into a training mold. We believe training should fit the dog.

Our approach begins by understanding your dog’s genetics, temperament, motivations, and natural behaviors, then building training around what they need to thrive. Through biological fulfillment, breed-specific outlets, and individualized behavior modification, we help dogs become more confident, balanced, and successful in the world around them.

Because the better we understand the dog, the better we can teach the dog.

In-Your-Home Pet Sitting

For some dogs, the best place to be while you’re away is exactly where they already feel safest: home.

Our in-your-home pet sitting is built around keeping your dog’s world as familiar and comfortable as possible. We take the time to learn their routines, their quirks, their favorite spots, and the little things that make them feel secure—then we step into their world rather than asking them to adapt to ours. This is especially true for dogs who are anxious, reactive, sensitive, or uncomfortable with change, familiar surroundings can make all the difference.

Because when you can’t be home, we want your dog to feel like their world hasn’t changed.

Comfortable Dog Boarding

Some dogs love a change of scenery. Others would much rather have a cozy home, a familiar routine, and a little extra one-on-one attention.

Our in-home boarding gives dogs the opportunity to stay in a team members’s home rather than a traditional kennel or busy facility. We take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and comfort level, creating a calm, personal experience where they can settle in and simply be themselves.

Sometimes the best boarding experience doesn't feel like boarding at all; it just feels like staying with family.

Private Daycare

Not every dog thrives in a traditional daycare environment; and we don’t believe they should have to.

Our private daycare gives dogs a more personal, home-based experience with individualized attention, thoughtful enrichment, and a pace that respects who they are. We get to know each dog’s personality, energy level, social comfort, and routines so their day can be structured around what makes them feel happy and secure.

For dogs who love people but don't love the chaos of a group setting, or those who simply do better with a little more individual attention, private daycare gives them room to be dogs without asking them to fit into someone else’s idea of daycare.

Small Pet Drop-In Visits

Sometimes your pets don't need a full day of care; they just need someone to stop by, check in, and make sure everything is okay.

Our small pet drop-ins are designed for the animals who are happiest staying in their own space. We provide personalized attention, fresh food and water, play, enrichment, and plenty of affection, all while keeping their routine as familiar as possible.

Whether they have four legs, whiskers, feathers, or scales, we believe even the smallest pets deserve to be known, understood, and cared for like family.

*Does not include dogs!

Dog Walking

We believe walks should be more than simply getting from point A to point B.

Our one-on-one walks give your dog dedicated time with their walker, without the distractions or unpredictability of a group. We move at their pace, pay attention to their body language, and create opportunities for appropriate exploration, enrichment, and engagement along the way.

For dogs who are reactive, easily overwhelmed, selective about their surroundings, or simply prefer having their person all to themselves, one-on-one walking allows us to make the walk about the dog—not the crowd.

Wedding Pet Handling

Your wedding day is one of the biggest moments of your life; and if your dog is part of it, they deserve to enjoy the celebration too.

Our wedding dog handling service is designed to take the responsibility of caring for your dog off your plate while keeping them comfortable, happy, and included. From getting ready and walking down the aisle to photos, cocktail hour, or simply relaxing nearby, we’re there to understand what your dog needs and help them navigate the excitement of the day.

Because your wedding day should be about celebrating your family—and your dog is part of that family.

Structured & Leisure Outings

Every dog needs opportunities to explore, move, and experience the world—but not every dog enjoys those experiences in the same way.

Our structured and leisure outings are tailored to the individual dog. Structured outings focus on purposeful movement, engagement, training, and practicing skills in real-world environments. Leisure outings give dogs the freedom to sniff, explore, decompress, and simply enjoy being a dog.

Whether your dog needs more structure or more freedom, we meet them where they are and create an outing that gives them what they need that day.

Pet Flight Companion

Travel can be stressful for pets; and even more so when their person can't be there to make the journey with them.

Our pet flight companion service provides your dog with a familiar, caring presence throughout their travels. From preparing for the journey and navigating the airport to accompanying them on the flight and getting them safely to their destination, we’re there to make the experience as calm, comfortable, and seamless as possible.

Because when your dog has to travel without you, they should never have to feel like they’re traveling alone.

Why Choose Us?

Because we believe good pet care starts with truly knowing the animal in front of us.

Milo’s Mutts was created for families who want more than someone to simply feed, walk, or watch their pets. We take the time to understand who your dog is—their personality, routines, needs, quirks, and the things that make them feel safe and happy.

We’re especially passionate about dogs who need a little more understanding. Reactive, anxious, sensitive, selective, high-energy, or just wonderfully weird—we believe there is a right way to care for every dog.

Our approach is personal, thoughtful, and relationship-driven. We don’t believe in forcing dogs to fit into a system. We build our care around the dog.

Because when you trust us with your pet, we want you to feel the same way we want to feel when someone cares for ours: They know my dog. They understand my dog. And they genuinely love my dog.
